We had absolutely the best stay as this apartment. The apartment is central to everything. Close to the Casino, reef terminal and only a short walk from Cairns Central railway if your planning on going to/ catching the train back from Kuranda. We were also able to organise the bus to pick us up from the Pullman which is close by to take us to the sky rail. Basic kitchen cooking items like oil, salt and pepper and spreads were a great touch. The apartment was also great for my 2 yo who loved the kids plates and cups available and he managed to find some kids toys. Woolworths is only a short walk away to pick up supplies.
